Preview Cataclysm Part 2, or "I Love Goblins Now"
*gape* I cannot not make a Goblin now. She's SO FREAKING CUTE! But what would I do with her? O.O This also makes me wonder -- these skins are really detailed. Do you think that Blizz will offer players new skins for current races? Perhaps not by taking away old skins but just by adding new options and maybe even making them available at the barber shop? (Though if they did replace the old skins, it would seem sensible to just make those skins more detailed instead of utterly changing them.) It seems cruel to make the new races so detailed and do nothing to tempt people to stay with the old ones.

Preview Cataclysm Part 1, or "Here Are Some Fun Screenies"
Two shots of the Stormwind bank. Is that round thing a new type of vault? I say vault. If you'll notice in the first image, the round vault doesn't have hinges like the door does in the second image. Also, the angles in the second suggest that the guild vault (square) is in the back of the vault-space as seen through the door, whereas the round vault in the first shot is perpendicular to (and offset from) the guild vault.

Makeover, or "Birdy Got All Fancy!"

I got the outfit I hyped recently and made her start riding the pink and purple mechanostrider from the Argent Tournament.
And I cut her hair.
I'm sure her hair will go back and forth between this and her braids. I love this hair, but it's not something I want permanently. It does make her look more grown up, though. And she is the kind of gal who'd chop her hair off for convenience's sake.

More Names, or "We're Overdue"
I've been compiling pretty steadily, though guild business has kept me out of those silly lowbie zones with their Crotchkickers and assorted crimes against spelling.
So here's the best of the stuff I've collected. Have fun.

Drawings, or "I LOVE My Friend Velandrea"
I drew some chibis of my Dustfire, my sister-in-law's Kizmet, and our guildmate's Velandrea just for fun.

Velandrea is an amazing artist, and I finally nagged her into drawing me a Dustfire. XD Thank you Vel!!!

While I'm excited about new hair coming out in the Wrath expansion, I doubt I'll ever change Dusty's hair. /shrug
I chalk this up to doing it right in the creation panel.

Best and Worst Names of 2007, or "I Don't Know Why I Collect These"
You know my stance on names. These are the old and new names of 2007. Some are good, some are bad, and some are just plain stupid.

Dance Party, or "Aaron is the Sweetest Boy in My Guild, and You Can Quote Me"
Aaron is one of the youngest members in our horde guild, and I am among the older set (22 and up). In various outside-the-game Warcraft conversations, if someone mentions Aaron, the phrase "sweet kid" usually comes up, because it's impossible not to like Aaron. He's just a ... well, a sweet kid. ^_^
So I'm puttering around last night and Nevari calls me. "Can you get on for about five minutes?" she says.
I say, "Um, I guess," because it's not like her to be so mysterious. And in a few minutes, I'm in the middle of Undercity, checking my mail.
"Hey," says Aaron in guild chat. "I have something for you."
I smile and make a joke: "Is it a flying phoenix mount?" Because those are bind-on-pickup, and nobody could just hand me one. And they're in an instance we aren't ready for yet. And, oh yeah, they're a rare drop.
But everyone got the joke because I've been going on and on (annoying, maybe?) about how I really want one for Dustfire. I mean, look at her name. It just screams "I ride a phoenix." Dust. Fire. Yo.
I've been going on and on about something else, too. First, a related story.

Screenshots of Dumbness, or "Why'd They Have to Change Screenshots to JPEG..."
.... when I don't know how to change them back to the way they were? I had a system going. The ones I couldn't see thumbnails of were the working copies, and the PNG versions were the edited copies. *sigh* Now my screenshots folder is just a mess.
Anyway, on with the show!
Nevari made me a White Wedding Dress! Yay!!!
Our resident paladin has the gayest belt ever. Bloodscale Belt. I want one! It has a pink heart, see?!
Anyway, on with the show!

Beauty, or "Having Fun with Screenshots"
Here she is, folks, the sexiest girl in Warcraft. PRINCESS! (Boss in Maraudon.) Seriously, though, someone gave me the impression she was supposed to be really pretty. Imagine my confusion...

In other news, I made it through the Dark Portal with Dustfire (level 58 required). Now we're waiting for Manasseh and Nevari to catch up. There was some awesomeness going on the other side, too.

My Girls, or "WoW Model Viewer is Pretty Cool"
I've been told that the Model Viewer program may be "technically against the Terms of Agreement, even if it isn't an in-game thing," so I won't encourage you to download it. I will, however, warn you that fake versions are floating around with viruses in them, so be careful. If you decide to get it anyway, do so from the creator's site.
Now, this is a photo of all of the characters I have, would like to have, or will make my husband have. (Guess which one he gets? ^_^) This is just some fun character design. You can recognize two, I bet. And if you want to, go ahead and guess which ones are from the character profiles post.

Fun with Chat, or "What a Conversational Montage"
Just a few of the most recent, interesting conversations I've experienced.
-----------
More chatting in front of Alliance while waiting to enter an instance. Nevari was agreeing with the garbled something-or-other one of the Alliance said. I had just used my custom emote "Dustfire has given the Alliance a wedgie."

Waiting in queue for Warsong Gulch, a random guy starts talking.

More discussion about weird names. Here, I'm making a list of all the people who pass me in the bank who have names that couldn't possibly be anything more than banging a fist on the keyboard, adding some vowels to make it pronounceable, and hitting "Accept."

A little more situational. Nevari is teasing Manasseh (warlock) for seducing her sheep -- so the baddie was both polymorphed and seduced, which is overkill. The problem was that her chat bubble seemed to be coming out of the dead body, and I was VERY confused and a little frightened. It took me a minute to realize who was talking.

Savory Deviate Delight, or "Shiver Me Timbers, I'm a Ninja!"
The recipe for Savory Deviate Delight is a very rare drop from any kind of beast in the barrens.
If you come across one (meaning the recipe, not the food), you can sell it for anywhere from 50s-100g, depending on your economy.
It is easier to find on the horde auction house because the Barrens is a horde leveling area.
Requires: 1 Deviate Fish, 1 Mild Spices

Montage at 19, or "Do I Like Screenshots Too Much?"
These are pictures taken from an email thread with my favorite people ever. So I have a collection to choose from, and you get the best of the best.

Montage at 13, or "Look at pictures of Birdfall!"
Screenshots: You can take a screenshot in the game by hitting the [Print Scrn] key on your keyboard. Then go into your World of Warcraft folder on your computer and find the Screenshots folder. They'll be in .tba format, but I change mine to .png with Paint Shop Pro.

Level 12-13 Gallery
There will be other galleries and photo ops as things progress. I just thought these were pretty, especially with the sunsets. The in-flight pictures are me heading for Darkshore. Please excuse the down-the-vest one. I'm getting a shirt to go under it. (Birdfall just isn't that type of girl.)
