I had an undead female mage on another realm that I was going to purchase a cockroach for because it just seemed so fitting. I ended up changing to a blood elf and now it just doesn't seem appropriate. I think she needs a bunny... but I've decided that the bunny will wait until I have half the gold set aside for my mount. It's an incentive not to waste so much money on gear (which I'm still failing at miserably! - see my new beautiful green cloak ^_^*) Why do we love pets (and pretty gear!) so much? :)
I've been playing since January '07 and have several less awesome characters. My real life profession is writing, and I've been married since my junior year of college. Whenever that was.

Contrary to popular belief, my favorite color is not, in fact, pink. It's blue. But in a game built mainly for guys, I get excited about any girly additions and consider it my duty and my pleasure to gush over them.

ReplyDeleteI think it's because we're girls. And you and I are both animal-crazy. And we both love Barbies and the Sims. So we like pets and dressing up.
ReplyDeleteI'd probagly get a cockroach, cept I got a mechanical squirrel instead. Much cooler and WAY cheaper.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I also have an imp. Or a big blue pinata. OR a creepy netherworld harlot. So... I guess what I'm saying is: I don't need anymore company.
