I zipped straight to NPC models: there's a Dark Phoenix Mount.No, I don't want it with all-consuming passion, or even much passion at all (though I'd take it if they were being handed out like candy). Mine's totally prettier. But this is pretty sweet if you want a "boy version" of the normal phoenix or if you just don't have time to go back and farm content. I wish everyone luck. :)

ReplyDeleteThe Dark Phoenix is pink and purple and sparkly. Sure, dark sparkles, but sparkly nonetheless. I don't know I'd call it a "boy version". I mean, most boys I know think fire is pretty cool, too. Even if it does have pink streamers.
ReplyDeleteWhatever you call them, though . . . both Phoenix mounts are pretty awesome. There's not much I'd pick to fly instead of my druid flight form . . . but either one of these make that cut.
You're right, there's a bit of pink on the head. I'm thinking the blue on the wing-tips is more boy-ish than the pink on the original's wing-tips. The purple could be called girly, but it's a dark purple and when combined with the blue I'm convinced it's more of a boy mount than a girl mount.
