That is a very good idea. Assuming that they keep the current minerals, herbs and skins in the game for Cataclysm then this could be incredibly useful.
ReplyDeleteThe whole world is being re-modelled, so old Gathering add-ons that people have build up will be useless. Herbs will be in different weird and wonderful places, mineral veins could be on top of hills, or in new caves. Animals won't patrol the same routes they used to do.
So everybody will be find a new layer of difficulty in levelling professions themselves. If they have rich mains, you could be the one to provide the goods now whilst they are easy to obtain through routes you've travelled many times.
