2 of my guildies (the older gentlemen) just got Spectral Tigers in a Blizzcon raffle.
2 more (the younger gentlemen) got the Ethereal Pet.
O.O
The only gal in the group got some measly Pet Biscuits, but at least she got something.
I'm excited our guild will have such nice items in it -- or, you know, money in the winner's pockets. >_> I hope they use them or trade them for gold or something, because it'd be nice to have one tiger in the guild.

Oh well. Gratz to the lucky fellows, and I wish them luck and envious whispers in the weeks to come.
Actually, it wasnt really a raffle. If you got to the front of the line, you won something. You stood in a box that blew a bunch of pieces of paper around for 25 seconds. If you caught a blue paper, you get the mount, a red paper you get the pet, and yellow gets you the biscuits.

ReplyDeleteOne of the guys already said he plans to use the mount. Not sure about the other fellow.
Both of them plan on using the mount. The one that doesn't play as often plans on playing more.
ReplyDeleteIt was a timer of 25 seconds but it really was only 20 because it took 5 to get the paper blowing.
Not all blue papers had a mount, not all red had the ethereal, etc.
You had to unfold them enough to read them to see if it said Sorry or Mount/Pet/Biscuit.
Besides being super nervous and excited about possibly winning the mount it was actually quite difficult.
Don't forget to mention: Teo, the "gets every non-combat pet, turtle mount, all around CHEATER when it comes to vanity loot, guild leader" guy... walked away with NADA/ZIP/ZILCH! :P
