Beta Updates, or "Horde Guild Mount and Worgen News"

1. Worgens have no racial mount.  They drop to all fours and run.  I imagine Blizz will try to even the numbers of Alliance vs Horde mounts for the achievements in a way other than Worgen mounts, but for now we should just try not to stress about it.  They've gone to extreme lengths to even out mounts in the past and there's no reason for them not to do the same now.

2. Female Worgens are now live on the Beta.  I already petitioned my brother to send me screenies, so expect that later today.  Meantime, here's a video to whet your appetite.

3. Horde guild mount is a scorpion and has both an image and video.

4. Worgen male dance is Justin Timberlake.  I imagine this will renew the clamor for dance studios.

That's sooooo cheap... that was the "mount" of the Tauren in the beginning. (Plainswalking)

    How I hate this...

  2. How are they going to work around the casting timer for mounts I wonder? It doesn't really make sense for their to be one for "dropping to all fours" which takes less time to do than sitting. Not that a lot of what Blizz does makes any realistic sense but, ya' know...

Also whatever happened to the whole dance studio idea? I heard about that back in development of BC or Northrend, one or the other. Did they just completely scrap it?

  3. The cast timer for dropping to all fours is the same as mounting, so there's no practical difference.

As for the dance studio, it's been a while since we've heard anything about it but the last time we heard something, they were working on it. Perhaps it got pushed back due to Cataclysm, but I imagine they'll release it, like all their things, "when it's ready." I'm sticking to that hope until they say otherwise.

  4. A cast timer for dropping to all fours is darn silly, but I suppose they had to do it for balancing.
